If we think about remote work, it was something that looked like the near future, but with the arrival of the pandemic, it allowed us to accelerate the digital transformation process that every day isleading us to a new technological revolution.

From my experience it has been a pleasant and wonderful opportunity to be able to manage time, in addition to adapting the space to be able to carry out this task, since at home I hace to generate a totalle dedicaded space to carry out my professional work as academics. This allowed me to organize and manage that space to be able to fulfill my tasks and work activities of the day to day, I cannot deny that at the beginning it was a challenge because it did not have the adequate space which generates distractions from the environment or beging in the dining room while you are doing some activity.

The spaces have changed to get the best version of one by approaching different communities to be able to use the potencial of internet and work with people that you have seen physically in your life and being able to generate excellent comunication to be able to solve day-to-day challenges.

I believethat this modality came to stay and encourage collaborative co-works spaces where we approach at different times and communities to share and grow but at the same time, to be able to generate solutions from anywhere in the world for different horizons. It continues to be a challenge for many and we will continue in this constant learning that society offers us in the way we work and hoy we are doing it and where we will go...

To carry out the digital transformation process in the consulting firm, it began with the incorporation of agile methodologies supported by the use of the Kanban philophy using the trello software, using this platform to generate the sprints through the work cells. This allowed to generate iterations in the projects with weekly goals and to be generating a more dynamic flow within the organization,focused on the fulfillment of the internal and external clients.

Generating the philosophy of continuous improvement and reevaluation of workflows has allowed these positive changes in the face of the new needs that the market has generated.

With the arrival of the pandemic, the need to accelerate the change process and continue in the digital transformation process was generated, which led to the proposal and migration to Google Workspace services, which allowed the work online collaborative of documentary level, spreadsheets, presentations, management of information security storage units. Allowing to generate efficiency in the way of working, focusing on collaborative work online, where one works under same version of document and information for the deliverable to customrs, thus generating a better version management of all deliverables.

Beingable to review the processes and filling in information allowed the development of different applications under Google Apps Script (GAS), being able to automate the filling of information from different sources and different collaborators, reducing errors in copying information for fillng in reports such as being able to automate the generation of technical documentation to be delivered to supported by cloud resources and the Google Suite in the development and constant change of the organization, wich leads us to a process of continuos improvement and in tune with this digital transformation process.

Digital Transformation in Environmental Consulting


This work develops the interaction of artificial intelligence algorithms with oceanographic models. For this, an experimental pilot was used to predict the time series of different variables that can generate enviromental impacts on the maritime ecosystem. It was necessary to rely on the oceanographic baseline study to obtain data in southern Chile and generate the study in a maritime concession. The processing of the data from Croco-Ocean oceanographic model was carried out through a transformation of the time series from the NetCDF to CSV forma, allowing a better manipulation of the data. The results obtained show a comparison of the performance of different neural networks: dense(DNN), convolutional (CNN) and recurrent (RNN), which allowed determining which method obtains better metrics in time series problems. In order to be able to monitor and predict the variables that affect the cultivation center.
